Colours Of India By Jeffrey Pratt
One winter Jeffrey spent three months based in Udaipur. Living amongst the busy daily domestic lives of the locals, tribal people, sacred cows, goats and vibrant colours was an intoxicating experience for him. A total dream.
' India is a place where colour is doubly bright' Hargrave
"It is beautiful, out there, outside in life, looking, loving, feeling all that is free. ' If you're not out there, face to face with the world, you are seeing a second hand view. The minute subtleties of colour simply dont show on a photograph and much of the energy and excitement of the reality is lost in the studio. When you're there, in life, on the spot, with all the accompanying difficulties, you are thrown back onto a wild, brave, now or never spontaneity, a sense of there being nothing to lose" Jeffrey Pratt
