Ile De Re By Jeffrey Pratt
Jeffrey loves driving through France and stopping on the island of Ile de Re on the West coast. The island is known for its salt marshes and beaches backed by dunes and pine trees. The main town of St Martin de Re has the 17th-century fortifications of the Vauban plus outdoor cafes overlooking the marina. Bicycle paths crisscross the island.
